Faith-Forward Healthcare for Men

Third John Health Corporation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The mission of Third John is to advance the systematic integration of biblical evidence (truths) with scientific evidence (facts) in the delivery of whole-person health care. As a Christian organization, we believe the Bible is the ultimate authority for living our best lives. As a collective of health professionals, we believe quality research is the ultimate guide for choosing and using healthy practices to achieve our best lives. So we decided to combine, or systematically integrate, the two and offer Bible-based healthcare like never practiced or experienced before.

The name Third John is taken from scripture that supports whole-person care: Beloved, we want you to have a prosperous life journey that includes wellness in body [physical health], uncorrupt truth [spiritual health], and proper thoughts, emotions, and desires [psychological health]. 3 John 1:2

Meet The Team

Eugene R. Furnace

APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, CMHE

Primary Care and Psychiatry

Eugene is a double board-certified nurse practitioner in family medicine (FNP) and psychiatry (PMHNP), certified men's health educator (CMHE), and professor. He is the founder of Third John Health Corporation, a recognized leader in men's health, and an expert in the systematic integration of physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being. He works with men to implement preventive care plans, manage chronic conditions, and overcome health challenges. His work as a professor has refined his ability to translate complex medical ideas into understandable and actionable strategic plans.

Eugene enjoys outdoor activities, travel, good eats, comic cons, live performances, and game nights with family and friends.

Kenneth R. Chinchilla

APRN, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatry and Mental Health

Kenneth is a husband, father, and veteran with a passion for mental health that began during his service in the United States Marine Corps. He was worked with adults and children providing a safe space to address trauma, depression, anxiety, anger outbursts, ADHD, and other challenges. In addition to his work in psychiatry, Kenneth is an award-winning body builder who understands the benefits physical activity can have on mental health. He incorporates his experiences with exercise and diet into comprehensive plans to help people achieve their goals. Kenneth provides services in English and Spanish.

When not serving professionally, Kenneth serves his family and enjoys family pizza nights, video games, traveling with his wife, and coaching his son's soccer team.

Cary R. Cole

APRN, FNP-C

Hormone and Peptide Specialist

An Arizona native, Cary’s path to healthcare began with service in the United States Marine Corps, followed by years as a firefighter/paramedic and pediatric ICU nurse. He later earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and is a board-certified nurse practitioner.

Cary’s approach to medicine centers on preventive health and performance optimization, combining evidence-based practice with a deep understanding of hormone balance, weight management, and peptide science. Guided by faith and grounded in family, he and his wife are raising three children while continually seeking new ways to test physical limits and strengthen mental grit.
